    Description

    This carving is a Navajo tribe hand-carved 'long hair Shalako kachina' from the Navajo nation in western New Mexico.  It features beautiful hand carving and painting throughout.  Note the feature that makes this carving unusual is the intentional omission of feathers and leather accessories.
