Hopi Kachina Doll - Mr. & Mrs. Kokopelli by Darren Masawytewa - Amazing!

Presented today is this extraordinary Hopi Kachina doll, depicting a Janus-figured Kokopelli and Kokopel' Mana. Standing 11 and a half inches tall, the figure is carved by Darren Masawytewa, of Second Mesa. The Kokopelli's are always tricksters, and much of their humor is sexually oriented, as is certainly the case with this interpretation. The figure, as shown in the pics, comes apart, exposing a nude version of Mr & Mrs Kokopelli. They are "pinned" together with a certain part of their respective anatomies. Very unusual.
